Terms of use
The terms that govern reading the site, using the reform texts, and contributing through the workspace.
Not legal advice
Everything here is civic education and model drafting. None of it is legal advice, none of it supports or opposes any candidate for office, and reading it creates no attorney-client relationship. Before acting on any draft, consult a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction.
Using the reform texts
The library exists to be used. Read, quote, translate, and adapt the texts, and introduce them in any legislature, in whole or in part. We ask that public copies credit Anticapture and link back, so readers can find the living version and its history.
Accounts
The public site needs no account. The workspace is invitation-based, and you are responsible for activity under your credentials. The maintainer may suspend or remove access for conduct that corrupts the record, harasses contributors, or games review.
Contributions
Anything you submit through the workspace enters the project’s editorial record. Accepted changes publish under your name with your notes and the history of their review. That record is permanent by design. The privacy page explains what this means for your data.
No warranty
The site and its texts are provided as is. We work to keep them accurate, current, and available, and we do not guarantee any of it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anticapture and its maintainer are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or the texts.
Changes
These terms will change as the project grows. The revision date above is the record of when. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
